The SSR Defi Challenge Fin features the SSR Electron Lock system made popular on the SSR EX-C Fin, SSR EX-C Mesh the Racing Hart Super Fin and many other JDM Wheels. The Suzuka Sangyo LONGCHAMP XR-7 jdm wheels are the less popular brother to the Suzuka Sangyo LONGCHAMP XR-4. The main difference of the Suzuka Sangyo LONGCHAMP XR-7 to the LONGCHAMP XR-4 are the awkward looking center caps, also it sees the spokes have a different profile. The Hiro V-1 are Old School JDM Wheels made by SSR Wheels. The SSR Hiro V-1 are 3 spoke wheels, with triple curved spokes and feature the Speedstar Racing magnetic locking center cap system. SSR Wheels Hiro V-1 feature 2 piece construction with the face bolted on to a welded barrel. Hiro Engineering is the firm that produces the V-1 and also carried a full line of Aero including the HIRO Super Silhoutte Kit line of aero pieces.
The AME Modelart are JDM Wheels with a fancy twist made by Enkei Wheels in Japan. The AME Modelart features a smooth 5 spoke profile with a center cap to hide the lug nuts to a point center. The Racing Hart Rev are JDM Wheels that were popular during the 90’s. Produced by Takechi Project the Racing Hart Rev were actually made by Work Wheels. The Racing Hart Rev feature a muscular 5 spoke design, with 3 piece sandwich mount construction and stepped lips. Sizing was available in 15″-17″ diameters and widths up to 10.5″. The Volk Racing 84c Aero Covers are one of the few JDM Wheels that actually feature removeable Aero Covers, which are suposed to aid in brake cooling by extracting air from the braking area. Beneath the Aero Covers are actualy a pretty cool Volk Racing Mesh wheel. Carving Stark I, Carving Stark II, Carving Stark III – The Carving Stark Wheels are JDM Wheels targetted to the European Market; I actually have sseen some end up in Germany. They Carving Stark series are also the JDM Wheel series with the infamous Twist, they are directional to each side. The ad shows Carving Stark II on a Toyota Soarer, Carving Stark I on a Nissan Gloria, an Carving Stark III on a Nissan Fairlady Z 300ZX Z32. The German Print on the advertisement translates to “The rims of the brand “Stark [Strong]” stand for German history and tradition that stems from the cradle of European Cars and improve the handling of your car.”Carving Stark I, Carving Stark II, Carving Stark III – Here is a close up of the wheel portion of the ad; please excuse the poor scan. I believe the Stark I is offered in 15″ and 16″ Sizes, and the Stark II and III are offered in 16″ & 17″ sizing. The Carving Starks are in fact Manufactured by JDM Wheel Manufacturer Work Wheels.
