The MUGEN CR-X PRO Honda CR-X is a great looking interpretation from the guys at MUGEN POWER. The MUGEN CR-X PRO had a full body kit including flared fenders which have the tiny CR-X a muscular look. The wheels predate Mugen branded wheels, but I believe are FORTRAN ASSO JDM Wheels which make sense since Mugen used FORTRAN on the Mugen MR-5.
The Mugen Power CF-48 are JDM Wheels made specially for 80’s era EA Honda Civic. The Mugen Power CF-48 feature a aeuro design said to resemble a clutch. The The Mugen Power CF-48 were only available in 13″ and 14″ diameters and in 4×100 pcd. Pictured are the Mugen Power CF-48 on an EA Honda Civic.
The Mugen RNR are Iconic JDM Wheels known for fitment on Golgen Age Honda Automobiles. The Mugen RNR feature very lightweight one piece construction which boasts a low weight of 4.95kg; which is 9.9 lbs! They have a simple 5 spoke design and come in 4×100 pcd. The Mugen CF-48 are JDM Wheels made for the Honda inhouse tuning firm Mugen Power. The Mugen CF-48 feature a finned design resembling a clutch, but also offered are aero covers. The Mugen MR-5 are JDM Wheels made exclusively Honda Automobiles, it says it on the wheel itself! They are also probably the most popular wheel Mugen has produced. The Mugen MR-5 features a 5 spoke face with a 2 piece design and exposed bolts. Sizing was available in smaller 14″, most popular 15″ and the most coveted 16″ diameter. A cool detail was that not only did each wheel have a center caps, but each lug nut had its own cover as well. The Mugen MR-5 are manufactured by Fortran Wheels. The center area does have a clutch like appearance to help draw air from the brakes. An optional aero cover was also available to help the air and for aerodynamics.
