The Racing Hart Type C2 are JDM Wheels that came out in the late 90’s, however this set of C2’s are bolted to a Old School Mazda R100 over 20 years older than the wheels. The Racing Hart Type C2 are jdm wheels that were the updated version of the Original Racing Hart Type C by Takechi Project. Major differences of the two were machined finish instead of painted and a less complex center cap with an aluminum coin in lieu of carbon fiber. The Feroce Mesh and Feroce Spoke are less popular wheels by Rick Japan; which more notably produced the August Feroce. The Rick Japan Feroce Mesh JDM Wheels have the classic BBS RS style mesh style with center lock center cap and sandwich mount construction with exposed bolts. The Rick Japan Feroce Spoke JDM Wheels have the same contruction and features, but with a spilt spoke 5 star styling; ort of like a bigger and updated version of the 4 spoke August Feroce. As pictured, both wheels feature real 3 piece contruction; and also pictured are the Rick Japan Feroce Spoke mounted on a 964 series Porsche 911.
The Enkei 92, aka Enkei EK92, might be one of the most produced JDM Wheels of all times. Since I was a kid and even now I see them cars all the time, and I just mean the original version. The GALE LS636 are one of the classic JDM Wheels to hit the US Market in the 1990’s; back then and even now we just call them GALES. What makes the GALE LS636 a bit different, is they had better distribution than other JDM wheels at the time, which made them more popular. The GALE LS636 features a 10 spoke face with lugnut hidden behind a center ring and hex cap; a popular faux centerlock design very popular at the time. At the time of print, the GALE LS636 were available in sizing up to 16x8j and in 4 different colors. Shown above are the GALE’s mounted on a S13 Nissan Silvia. The SSR AERO unofficaily the SSR Development are JDM Wheels by Speed Star Wheel / SSR WHEELS. The The SSR AERO features 2 piece welded construction with the barrel bolted to the internally finned aero face. The SSR AERO all complete with center caps and all is a very rare sight, as I have never seen a set. The SSR Aero JDM Wheels in this image are bolted to a AE86 Toyota Corolla Levin in period corrext 1984 style.
