Watanabe Wheels are one of the older manufacturer of JDM Wheels in Japan. Most notable for their banana spoke type wheels, they also made the Watanabe Falcon Turbo Wheels back in the early 80’s as this ad was circa 1981. Also featured is the Falcon Z Spoiler on the S130 Nissan 280zx Turbo. The sizing of the Watanabe falcon Turbo Wheels are 14×8 front & 14×8.5 rear which is still decent over 30 years later!

The EOS Division are 6 spoke JDM Wheels made by Speedstar Racing. The EOS feature 2 piece construction with exposed lug nuts. Sizing on the EOS varied from 16×7 +49 all the way to a wide 17×9.5 +43, however I suspect the 17×9 +19 might have a nicer look. Pictured are the EOS Division on a R32 Nissan Skyline GT-R. Also featured are the 5 spoke “hammer” style EOS-D on a Nissan Gloria.

The Desmond Promoda Cresendo are JDM Wheels that have more of a VIP flare to them. Full thick spokes give a spartan look, and Gold Bolts and Logos give it that luxurious look. Watanabe makes the quintessential Banana Type 8 spoke JDM wheels in a few different yet similar styles. Due to the spoke shape and lip size, I believe the Watanabe wheels pictures are both the Watanabe F8 type. On the left is a Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo Fairlady Z32, and on the right a Nissan Skyline GT-R R32; both some beautiful Machines.

Volk Racing GTU are JDM Wheels targetted towards the USDM Market. As the wording on the ad suggests, these JDM Wheels are named for the IMSA GT-U Class, an American racing series. The Volk Racing GTU are 2 piece wheels with a mesh face. Pictured are the Volk Racing GTU on an S13 series Niissan 180SX.
